The National Agrifood Health and Quality Service (Senasa) of Argentina and the Malaysian embassy have collaborated to organize a seminar aimed at enhancing Argentine beef exports to Malaysia by understanding the Halal rite. This initiative was initiated by a meeting between Senasa's Vice President, Rodolfo Acerbi, and the Malaysian ambassador to Argentina, Nur Azman bin Abdul Rahim. The seminar will be organized by Senasa and the Malaysian embassy's technical teams and will be attended by the Islamic Center, refrigeration plants, and religious rite certifiers. This follows a successful 14-day audit by the Malaysian Veterinary Services Division last June, which revalidated existing exporters and enabled new ones, focusing on the safety and quality processes in production and compliance with the Halal rite protocol.
