The cost of producing live chicken in Paraná rose again in November 2025, according to data from Embrapa Swine and Poultry Intelligence Center, published in the Agricultural Economic Conjuncture Bulletin of the Rural Economy Department, from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply. The value reached R$ 4.63 per kilo in climate-controlled poultry houses with positive pressure, which represents an increase of 1.8% compared to October, although it is still 3.3% below the level recorded in the same month of 2024. According to Embrapa Swine, the Chicken Production Cost Index reached 358.40 points in November, with a monthly advance of 1.68% and a 2.2% drop compared to the previous year. In the accumulated total of 2025, the index shows a 3.3% contraction, while in the last 12 months the reduction is 2.17%.
