Crude palm kernel oil production increased 6.76 per cent to 210,529 tonnes from 197,197 tonnes, while palm kernel cake output increased 6.14 per cent to 229,765 tonnes from 216,465 tonnes. CPO inventories climbed 16.55 per cent to 1.47 million tonnes in October from 1.26 million tonnes a month earlier, while processed palm oil stocks fell 9.53 per cent to 990,766 tonnes from 1.09 million tonnes. “This brought total palm oil inventories higher by 4.44 per cent to 2.46 million tonnes in October from 2.36 million tonnes in September,” MPOB said.
