Chile's dairy exports have seen a significant increase of 33.8% in 2022 compared to 2021, despite the rising production costs. The exports have been valued at over $200 million from January to September of this year, up from $148.12 million in the same period last year. The main importers of Chilean dairy products are Mexico, the United States, Colombia, and the United Arab Emirates, with China potentially becoming a future buyer. The most exported products are condensed milk, powdered milk, and cheese. This increase in exports is being hailed as a positive development for the local agriculture sector, with the National Federation of Milk Producers working closely with ProChile to promote Chilean dairy globally.
