In Poland, the sales prices of dairy products fluctuated, with butter in blocks being 0.4% more expensive than the previous quotation and 2% more expensive than a month earlier, while the packaged butter was 5% cheaper than the previous week. Skimmed milk powder was sold at a higher price compared to the previous week and month, while whole milk powder was 1% more expensive than last month.
On the foreign markets, the price of butter on the Chicago Stock Exchange was 5% higher than a week ago and 0.4% higher than a month earlier, while skimmed milk powder remained unchanged compared to the previous week and whole milk powder was 7% higher than a month ago. The price of Cheddar cheese increased by 6% during the week but was 3% lower than a month ago and 31% lower than a year earlier.
