Dcoop Group, the world's largest producer of olive oil, expects to finalize the purchase of the remaining 50% stake in Pompeian in the coming months to gain full control of the company in the United States, which could contribute to increasing its global revenue by 2026. This was highlighted this Thursday by the president of Dcoop Group, Antonio Luque, in a meeting with journalists, who specified that this year the group's sales will remain similar to those of 2024, around 1.5 billion euros. If the integration of Pompeian is consolidated, the company could incorporate around 300 million euros to the group's balance sheet (up to 700 million dollars in annual revenue based on prices) and thus make "an important leap" next year, according to Luque. Pompeian, which has a 20% market share in the extra virgin olive oil segment in the US, is 50% owned by Dcoop and the other 50% belongs to the Devico family, which is considering selling its stake following the death over a year ago of one ...
