Recent reports highlight a surge in demand for NFC juice, especially cold-pressed apples, from Western European markets, leading to an anticipated price increase. Polish processing plants have shifted their production towards NFC apple juice over concentrated apple juice to meet this demand. The current European market prices for NFC juice are low, ranging from 0.22 to 0.27 €/liter (0.98 - 1.21 PLN/liter), but analysts expect an uptick due to heightened customer demand, higher production costs, and competition for raw materials. The lower production costs of NFC juices compared to apple juice concentrate, which is achieved by reducing the thickening process, make them more cost-effective to produce yet sensitive to raw material price fluctuations.
