Denmark saw drop in pork exports in 2022

In 2022, Denmark saw a 3% decrease in its pig meat exports with a total volume of 1,936,544 tons (down 65,349 tons from 2021). Exports to the EU made up 55% of Denmark's pig meat export volume at 1,070,647 tons. This represents an 8% increase from 2021 (988,884 tons) when exports to the EU accounted for 49% of the total. Exports to third countries saw a 15% decrease year-on-year totaling 865,897 tons in 2022.
