Dozens of new outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease in Poland. Two regions dominate.

37 new outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) were registered in Poland within just a week, reports the country's Chief Veterinary Inspectorate. Most of these are concentrated in two voivodeships. The majority of the new cases of positive ASF tests were recorded in the Lublin and Pomeranian Voivodeships. The disease has also appeared in four other regions. Most of these occurred in the first half of the year, with a seasonal decline in cases observed in the summer.
