Rainfall in this region has been patchy and uneven, so the condition of the crops largely depends on the amount of rain that has fallen in a particular location. However, mostly these are not the quantities that will ensure the high moisture needs of beets. Usually, scanty rains are enough to only support the vital activity of plants. In July, only 30 l/m2 fell in the farm, which was inspected by the journalists of the publication. For demanding plants, this is definitely not enough. Therefore, there are clear signs of moisture deficiency. This is mainly the loss of leaves. The oldest of them were irretrievably lost after the heat. In beets, interrows are opened in some places, which are immediately "used" by weeds, which get stronger and begin to grow above the level of the beet leaves.
