Business, labor, and consumer advocacy entities have released a manifesto in support of the modernization of the Worker Food Program (PAT), as outlined in Decree No. 12,712 of November 2025. The document is signed by associations such as Abras, ANR, Sebrae, Abipag, Proteste, as well as labor unions and representative entities of workers. In the text, the signatories advocate for the preservation of the "social character" of PAT and affirm that the update of the rules brings benefits to workers, companies, and the economy. According to the manifesto, the modernization strengthens food security, contributes to the formalization of employment, and improves the efficiency of the program.
