EastFruit analysts analyzed the changes in wholesale prices for fruits and vegetables as of the end of the first week of November 2020 compared to the same period of the previous year and identified vegetables and fruits that have risen in price in Uzbekistan the most significantly. Based on the analysis, it was revealed that in Uzbekistan, the sharpest rise in prices was noted for greens, plums and green sweet peppers. Basil became the leader of the top 5 types of fruit and vegetable products that increased in price. Wholesale prices for basil have increased 4.5 times over the year. In second place is cilantro, which has risen in price 3.3 times, and in third place is fresh plum with a price increase of 3.2 times.
