Exports of rice, corn, millet and sorghum banned in Cameroon

The Ministry of Commerce in Cameroon has imposed a ban on the export of rice, corn, millet, and sorghum due to rising prices and supply issues in the local market. The Minister, Luc Magloire Atangana Mbarga, has communicated this decision to the regional governorships to prevent the continued export of these grains, particularly those produced in the northern part of the country, which are commonly exported to neighboring countries.
