This week, beef cattle prices in Ireland have seen a slight increase, with heifers and steers quoted at €5.25/kg to €5.30/kg, and bullocks at €5.20/kg to €5.30/kg, depending on the site. The demand for bulls has also increased, with quotes going up by 5c/kg, and processors are quoting from €4.50/kg for P-grade cows to €5.15/kg for U-grade cows, offering opportunities for negotiation.
