FAO has started registration for obtaining seeds for farmers in the frontline regions of Ukraine

FAO begins registration for obtaining corn and sunflower seeds for the 2023 planting season to support agricultural producers from the frontline regions. Applications must be submitted by April 12 through the State Agrarian Register. Applying for this program does not guarantee that assistance will be provided. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. It is noted that the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), with the financial support of the Government of Japan, is implementing a program to provide corn and sunflower seeds to support small farms and other agricultural producers during the spring sowing campaign of 2023. It is necessary to apply for support under the program through the State Agrarian Register (DAR) by April 12, 2023.
