The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), supported by the Government of Japan, is taking registrations for the 2023 planting season to distribute corn and sunflower seeds to agricultural producers in conflict-affected regions of Ukraine. Interested parties can apply through the State Agrarian Register by April 12, 2023. The program aims to support small farms and enhance food security by providing seeds for 10 hectares of land to each beneficiary in nine regions. The distribution of seeds is contingent on their timely availability from local suppliers.
