The article reports on the current state of the livestock and agricultural markets in Poland, highlighting a significant increase in live beef prices for fatteners compared to the previous year. The cost per kilogram ranges from 2.00 to 10.00 PLN, depending on the type and weight of the cattle. Despite these higher prices, breeders are unsatisfied due to the substantial rise in production costs, especially with feed. Experts at the Central Statistical Office estimate the yield of the first cut of meadow grasses at around 28.5 dt / ha, and the harvest from permanent meadows reaches approximately 7.3 million tons.
