The transport group FESCO ("FESCO", "Group", an enterprise within the management of the state corporation "Rosatom") has taken over the management of JSC "Kaliningrad Sea Trade Port" (KMTPP). Earlier this year, the Group announced the acquisition of the company operating the Kaliningrad Sea Fish Port (KMRP) terminal. Thus, the consolidation of the capacities of KMTPP and KMRP will allow FESCO to form a unified production and operational contour for increasing the efficiency of using the port infrastructure of the Kaliningrad transport hub and developing the logistical accessibility of the region. "Kaliningrad Sea Trade Port" is located in the southeastern part of the Baltic Sea at the mouth of the Pregolya River. The port's terminals are located in the inner harbors of the city of Kaliningrad and are connected to the Baltic Sea by a navigable channel.
