Russia has seen a significant increase in its wheat or wheat-rye flour exports, exporting over 830 thousand tons in the first 8 months of 2024, a 1.3 times increase from the same period last year. According to the federal center Agroexport, by 2030, Russian supplies of wheat or wheat-rye flour are projected to reach 1.7 million tons. This follows a prediction by the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) that Russia may export half as much flour in the 2024/2025 agricultural year as in the previous season.
