Russia has seen a 38% increase in wheat and wheat-rye flour exports in the first seven months of 2024 compared to the previous year, marking the fourth consecutive year of growth. The largest buyer of Russian flour, following a 5-fold increase, is Afghanistan, with China and Iraq also among the top buyers. It is projected that by 2030, Russian exports of wheat and wheat-rye flour could exceed 1.7 million tons, with neighboring Asian, Persian Gulf, and African markets expected to drive this growth.
