In the past five years, excluding 2024 and last year, Russia has seen a significant increase of 57.7% in its flower production. The country's production is projected to surpass the 2023 figures by 3-5%. The Central Federal District is the primary region for flower production, which is concentrated in roses, tulips, chrysanthemums, gerberas, and lilies. The government is considering extending a preferential lending program to further support the domestic floriculture industry.
