Paraguay: Frigorífico Victoria began production this week for the United States market and expects to complete the first shipments by the end of October or early November, following the recent authorization of the North American market, a step considered key for expanding the opportunities of Paraguay's meat business. "It is a very important market for us, with very good prices; a solid alternative within the export scheme of the slaughterhouse," highlighted Adriana Herreros, general manager of the company, in an interview with Valor Agro. She added that this opening "would help a lot to maintain a diversity of markets with which we work," an aspect she considers fundamental to give stability to the meat chain.
