Thanks to the agreement with the Italian Telematic Commodity Exchange (BMTI) and Italmercati, we publish the survey of fruit and vegetable prices at the wholesale markets as of 5 September 2022. Below is a summary of the main types of fruit and vegetables on the market. In the downloadable pdf you will find the details of the graphs and the surveys on the main Italian squares: Milan, Bologna, Padua and Rome. The prices of cucumbers remained essentially stable, standing at levels above the average for the period. From a qualitative point of view, the level is not particularly high as, as for other productions, the crops have been affected by high temperatures. The demand turns out to be variable depending on the climatic trend. Prices for prickly pears tend to be stable with some signs of decline. The quality of the product is high. The level of demand is average but should increase as people return to large urban centers. At the moment there is the common prickly pear type. ...
