Recent surveys by Bmti have shown a decrease in fruit and vegetable prices in Italian markets due to factors such as weak demand, high availability, and favourable weather conditions. This has affected the prices of oranges, artichokes, cauliflowers, fennel, lemons, eggplants, peppers, tomatoes, and courgettes. However, the lack of rain has hindered the production of some products like artichokes. Notably, the prices for fennel and cauliflowers have dropped below the levels recorded last year.
