Approximately 1 million fruit saplings, including citrus fruits, cherries, peaches, persimmons, bananas, and walnuts, grown in Çukurova, Turkey, are exported to 14 countries. In 2020, the exports generated around 3 million dollars in revenue and the producers aim to surpass 1 million saplings this year. The certified nursery cultivation is crucial for high-quality, disease-resistant, and productive products. The sector is becoming more competitive and expanding, with potential for increased success and market opening as production grows.
