Gangwon-do has started its asparagus exports for the year, with the aim of stabilizing exports after a decrease due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Gangwon-do Agricultural Technology Institute and the Doasparagus Federation are working to diversify exporting countries and companies, and plan to export 20 tons in total for four months until July. The asparagus harvest in Gangwon-do usually lasts from March to mid-October, with the highest yield from April to May.
