Ghana, EU launch agribusiness platform to deepen investments

It forms part of the EU’s broader vision of establishing the AU-EU Agri-Food Platform that will catalyse sustainable and inclusive investments in African agriculture. Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive of the Chamber of Agribusiness Ghana – Anthony Morrison, assured that there will be a 50 percent discount for the first 100 companies to sign onto the platform. “Today, we have a platform that has been set up to promote agribusiness, technology, investments and trade among others. Our expectations are that this platform will transform and enhance the credibility of Ghanaian and African businesses,” he said. He stated that the project will look at companies or businesses that are legally registered. “Also, any business that signs up ought to belong to any of the recognised associations.
