Dairy market in Brazil: 12.49% rise in derivative prices in June

In June 2024, the dairy market in Goiás recorded a significant increase in the average prices of dairy products compared to the previous month. According to data from the Goiás Dairy Chain Technical and Conciliation Chamber, published in the new edition of the Goiás Dairy Market Bulletin, all dairy products showed an upward trend. The numbers reveal an 18.25% increase in the average price of mozzarella cheese, followed by a 15.43% increase in the price of whole UHT milk. Condensed milk also had a significant increase, reaching 8.11%, while powdered milk and cream recorded increases of 6.36% and 0.81%, respectively. Considering the individual variations of each product, the dairy products basket index closed with a total weighted variation of +12.49% in June.
