The Ministry of Economy's Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries celebrated the recent achievement of a gold medal by the companies La Negra Agropecuaria, based in Del Viso, and producer of the Urien Loza brand, at the first World Meat Championship (CMDC), which took place in Buenos Aires. The grain-fed sirloin presented by this producer was chosen as the best in the world and also received a special mention for excellence in flavor. This achievement reaffirms the quality and prestige of Argentine beef. Furthermore, in the grass-fed sirloin category, the gold medal was awarded to Quickfood S.A. for the sample from the Ricardo and Omar Bailo farm. The objective of the judges was to identify the most tender, juicy, and flavorful bovine meats on the planet in two emblematic categories: sirloin and flank steak, both in grain-fed and grass-fed versions.
