The Eflani district of Karabük has launched a new project, funded by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA), to enhance goose breeding and create job opportunities, particularly for women and young farmers. The project has successfully established a goose breeding farm with 600 animals, which has resulted in the distribution of goose puppies to 60 local farmers at no cost, following comprehensive training. These farmers are now set to generate income by rearing the geese, with the support of the project in providing continued training and marketing assistance. The initiative aims to offer a substantial source of income for the region's agricultural community.
