Goose breeding has become a new income source for the producers of Eflanî, Turkey

In the Eflani district of Karabük, 60 farmers, who successfully completed the training within the scope of the project prepared for the dissemination of goose breeding and received the goose puppies free of charge, gained a new income. Within the scope of the Social Development Support Program carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Eflani Municipality has implemented the "Production in Eflani for Rural Development" project in order to expand goose breeding in the district and to provide job opportunities especially for women and young farmers. Within the scope of the project supported by the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA), a goose breeding farm with 600 breeding animals was established in the district. The offspring obtained from these geese were distributed as grants to 60 farmers who were fed and raised after training.
