"It seems that farmers should put up for sale a little more grain in the second half of September this year, as the promising maize harvest approaches and in connection with the need to raise funds to cover financial liabilities. Trading companies show greater willingness to sell grain" - we read in the Chamber's weekly report. The Chamber estimates that this year's harvest of cereal grains (excluding maize) amounted to approximately 27.5 million tonnes, i.e. 5 percent. more than last year's production. According to the Chamber, there is also no excessive demand from processors. Fodder factories obtained grain for current production. Greater demand from them is expected in a few weeks, as the corn harvest begins.
