The Novosibirsk region in Russia has seen a significant increase in grain exports in the first quarter of this year, exporting about 188 thousand tons, which is double the amount from the same period last year. The exports were sold to 18 countries, twice the number from last year, with wheat making up 62% of the exports. Other exports included sunflower, peas, flax, barley, buckwheat, millet, and soybeans to countries such as China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Czech Republic. This marks the first time these countries have imported some of these products from the Novosibirsk region.
