A shipment of 3.4 tons of Creole and agroecological seeds, along with biofertilizers and soil remineralizer, produced by peasant cooperatives from Rio Grande do Sul is set to be delivered to the Guarani-Kaiowa indigenous people in Mato Grosso do Sul on Friday. The initiative is a show of solidarity and aims to support the indigenous community in achieving self-sustainment through the production of quality, healthy, agro-ecological food. The seeds include a variety of crops, and the project is supported by organizations such as CIMI, MPA, CPT, and the Padre Josimo Cultural Institute, as well as the cooperatives Cooperbio, Cooperfumos, Bionatur and South Arpa.
