Gyeongbuk Province in South Korea has updated the main production areas for vegetables and special crops for the first time in seven years, adding 10 cities and counties and removing 7 due to changes in cultivation areas and production volumes. The additions include Yeongcheon for garlic, Yecheon and Bonghwa for ginger, and Gyeongsan for oyster mushroom, while Uiseong and Cheongsong have been removed for red pepper. The province aims to stabilize prices and increase farm household income by controlling the supply and demand of agricultural products through these main production areas.
