[Korean Farmers' Newspaper Reporter Kang-san Lee] Hampyeong County (County Head Lee Sang-ik) held a policy discussion meeting on the 15th with the Hampyeong County Federation of Korean Farmers' Associations (President Shim Jae-sik) and the Hampyeong County Federation of Korean Women Farmers' Associations (President Lee Eun-jeong) to strengthen competitiveness in the agricultural sector. The discussion meeting was attended by over 50 people, including Hampyeong County Head Lee Sang-ik, President Shim Jae-sik of the Hampyeong County Federation of Korean Farmers' Associations, and President Lee Eun-jeong of the Hampyeong County Federation of Korean Women Farmers' Associations. In the meeting, which was organized to enhance the sustainable competitiveness of Hampyeong agriculture, attendees proposed expanding the production of functional agricultural products, activating low-carbon agriculture, enhancing education and capacity building for farmers, and improving the agricultural environment. Hampyeong County will review the opinions submitted at the meeting and actively incorporate them into future agricultural policies.
