Two new vaccines have been approved in Argentina for pigs to protect against Porcine Circovirus type 2a and 2b, and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, and a vaccine for chickens to guard against Marek's disease, infectious bursal disease, and Newcastle disease. These vaccines are crucial for preventing growth retardation and death in pigs, and immune response in chickens. The vaccines underwent authorization by the Undersecretariat of Agricultural and Forestry Production, the Coordination of Innovation and Biotechnology, and the National Advisory Commission on Agricultural Biotechnology, with compliance required to SENASA regulations before commercialization.
