The Huánuco Regional Government is investing over 1.6 million soles to boost the economic development of farmers through the 'Improving the Competitiveness of the Granadilla Productive Chain' project and the 'Strengthening of the avocado production chain, Hass variety' project. The former aims to benefit 2,000 granadilla producers by providing technical assistance, enhancing productivity, and creating commercial articulation, among other things, while the latter resumed after being halted by COVID-19 and aims to benefit 7,000 families. Both projects are expected to be completed within three years.
