Hungarian rice varieties SZV Szellő and Tünde have received state recognition for their quality and success in agricultural production. Developed by MATE and Gabonakutató Nonprofit Kft. researchers, these varieties have shown exceptional cold tolerance and resistance to epidemic tanning, making them ideal for both traditional and modern uses, including sushi. The selection of modern plant varieties is crucial for the success of agricultural production and these Hungarian varieties are expected to enhance the competitiveness of domestic rice production.
