In 2021, the catch of aquatic bioresources in Ukraine is more than 30 thousand tons

For 6 months of 2021, the total catch of fish and other aquatic bioresources by enterprises of the fishing industry of Ukraine amounted to 30,524 tons of aquatic bioresources. Thus, the industrial catch of fish and other aquatic bioresources amounted to 5,855 tons. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. In particular, 1,113 tons (+26% of January-June 2020), 434 tons of the Danube (+72%), 309 tons (+14%) of the Dnieper-Bug estuarine system, and Black Sea estuaries were extracted in the Sea of Azov. - 24 tons (+ 4%). In addition, industrial fishermen caught 1,579 tons of fish and other aquatic bioresources in the Black Sea, 518 tons in the lower reaches of the Dniester River with the estuary and the Kuchurgan Reservoir, 1,829 tons in the Dnieper River reservoirs and 50 tons in other reservoirs.
