In 2023, China's fruit imports and exports have grown, with import value reaching $16.85 billion, a 15% increase from the previous year, and export value at $4.98 billion, an 8% increase. The top imported fruits were fresh durian, fresh cherries, frozen durian, bananas, mangosteens, and coconut greens, while the main exports were fresh apples, citrus, fresh grapes, fresh pears, grapefruits, and pomeloes. Notably, citrus exports saw a 19% increase in value and 41% in volume, fresh grapes exports increased by 12% in value and 28% in volume, and grapefruit and pomelo exports increased by 39% in value and 38% in volume. The main export markets were Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, and the Philippines.
