Between January and May of 2024, Armenia experienced a 7% decrease in wheat imports in volume and a 19% decrease in value compared to the same period in 2023, totaling 125.2 thousand tons and $23,080.7 thousand respectively. Additionally, there was a 3% increase in wheat-rye flour imports, reaching 14.7 thousand tons or $3,518.1 thousand, which marked a 15% decrease in value despite the slight increase in volume. These findings are based on the Statistical Committee of Armenia's recent reports.
