In December, grain reserves in Ukraine increased.

According to the State Statistics Service, as of December 1, reserves of grains and legumes in Ukraine amounted to 20.6 million tons, which is 4.2 million tons more than a month earlier, reports APK-Inform. As clarified, as of the reporting date, agricultural enterprises stored 14.2 million tons of grains and legumes, which is 2.2% more than a month earlier, while processing and storage enterprises held 6.4 million tons (+36.3%). In particular, at the beginning of the current month, there were 7.8 million tons of wheat (-7.5% compared to a month earlier), 8.4 million tons of grain corn (+83.2%), 901 thousand tons of barley (-11.8%), 61 thousand tons of rye (-13.4%), and 4.8 million tons of sunflower seeds (-3.0%).
