In July, 330 hectares of agricultural land were demined and returned to use for farmers in Ukraine, and work began on almost 900 hectares last month to clear mines and explosive objects. This was reported in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Overall, since the start of the program as of the end of July, 76 contracts have been signed for the clearance of 14,309 hectares of agricultural land, amounting to 853.1 million UAH. Thanks to the humanitarian demining of agricultural land, the areas where farmers can sow, plant, and harvest are increasing. One way to increase the pace of demining could be the introduction of innovative technologies. Operators are already using drones for non-technical and technical surveys of the territories.
