Cucumbers experienced the highest price increase among fruits and vegetables in Russia, with a 11.3% rise last week, leading to an overall market increase of 4.1%. Other price hikes included tomatoes (6%), cabbage (4.7%), onions (4.4%), potatoes (3.8%), beets (1.6%), carrots (1.3%), bananas (1.2%), and apples (1%). Since the year's start, potatoes have seen the most significant price growth (1.7 times). Despite these increases, cucumber prices are still lower than the beginning of the year, by 17.8%, and the same goes for tomatoes (7.8%). Overall, fruit and vegetable prices in Russia have risen by 24.19% in 2023.
