The Krutyansky variety of lettuce, known for its high yield of 9.5 tons per hectare, was officially registered in 2017 by scientists at the Mayak research station in Kruty, Chernihiv region. This variety is renowned for its resistance to common lettuce diseases such as rot, powdery mildew, and septoria, making it an ideal choice for the region. It is recommended for cultivation in the Polissya and Forest-Steppe areas. The Institute of Vegetable and Melon NAAS, specifically DS "LIGHTHOUSE", holds the rights to propagate this variety.
