Turkey's farmed seafood exports in the first 10 months of the year reached US$1.404 billion, with 68% of the exports coming from the Aegean Sea region. Sea bass exports were the most valuable at US$435 million, followed by snapper at US$353 million and salmon at US$315 million. The United Kingdom was the top export destination, with a value of US$29 million, while Russia received the majority of frozen salmon and trout exports, worth US$158 million.
