In the first half of the year, coconut exports grew by over 20%.

Coconut is one of the agricultural products in Vietnam that has maintained a high growth rate from the beginning of the year to now. According to Mr. Cao Ba Dang Khoa, Secretary General of the Vietnam Coconut Association, the export of four main product groups in the coconut industry in the first six months of this year reached over 520 million USD, an increase of more than 20% compared to the same period in 2024. Some of the main products include food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals using coconut materials; handicrafts, wood, and agricultural substrates; and raw materials such as crude coconut oil, coconut milk powder, frozen coconut, frozen coconut milk, fresh coconut... Usually, the export of coconuts and coconut products tends to concentrate in the third and fourth quarters.
