Also in the region, the production of semi-finished products, kefir, and butter has increased. According to Rosstat, in January-October, meat processing enterprises in the Volgograd region produced 1,800 tons of boiled, cooled, or chilled pork, which is 29.7% more than in the same period of 2024. The production of meat, meat-containing chilled and frozen semi-finished products increased by 8.6% to 33,400 tons. The volume of sausage production amounted to 12,100 tons, boiled, cooled, or chilled meat of cattle (beef and veal) - almost 200 tons. In the reporting period, the region's dairy processing enterprises increased the production of kefir by 10.6% to 3,300 tons, and butter - by 3.5% to 3,100 tons. Milk production (excluding raw milk) was recorded at 23,900 tons, cheese - 9,500 tons, sour cream - 2,700 tons.
