The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved changes that expand financial assistance to agricultural producers in frontline regions, specifically in areas of possible and active hostilities where state electronic information resources are operational, according to the Ministry of Economy.
Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Minister Oleksiy Sobolev emphasized that the updated programs are aimed at stabilizing production volumes. The changes concern two support instruments—grants for investment in orchards and greenhouses and subsidies per hectare for perennial crops.
In the grant program for the creation and development of horticulture, berry cultivation, viticulture, and greenhouse farming, there will be a single compensation limit for the cost of planting—up to 400,000 UAH per hectare for all crops without differentiation by type.
New co-financing conditions:
As reported by AgroPolit.com, Europe is selling oil from rapeseed stolen in Ukraine. Additionally, Europeans will not be able to buy Ukrainian land until the end of the war.
