Indonesia and the Philippines have both made significant purchases of Black Sea wheat for delivery in August and September respectively. Indonesian mills booked 35,000 tons at approximately $225 per ton, while the Philippines secured 60,000 tons at $215 per ton. Due to increased transportation costs, Black Sea wheat prices have seen a steady rise, with quotes now reaching $230 per ton C&F Asia, up from $225 the previous week.
