When a digital tool helps a farmer or a small producer make better decisions, improve their production, or face more adverse conditions, innovation stops being a promise and becomes a concrete possibility of development. This week we visited the Region of La Araucanía as part of the Connected Communities project, an initiative that seeks to bring digital transformation to territories, especially where gaps in access to services, connectivity, and opportunities continue to mark the daily lives of thousands of people. What we saw on the ground reaffirms a deep conviction: true innovation is what transforms lives. Too often, innovation is presented as a distant idea, almost abstract, associated only with complex technologies or large urban centers.
